Bulletin Design

You send the content. I send back the bulletin.
Every week, from $150 an issue.

No template to wrestle with, no Tuesday morning lost to column alignment. Print-ready by your deadline, laid out for your parish, ready for whoever prints it — and your current printer or bulletin publisher stays exactly as it is.

Still building your bulletin in Microsoft Publisher? It reaches end of life this October. Here's what that means for your parish →

The deadline never moves

No matter what's happening at the parish that week — a funeral, a festival, a staffing gap — Sunday still comes, and the bulletin still has to be ready.

It's not a design problem, it's a time problem

The bulletin isn't hard. It's just relentless. Fifty-two deadlines a year that land on someone who has eleven other jobs.

The person who does it is the single point of failure

When they're on vacation, out sick, or they leave the parish, the bulletin becomes an emergency. That risk doesn't show up on any budget line until it does.

Real Transformation

Same content, same deadlines — a completely different bulletin.

Church bulletins are built in-house, week after week, by parish staff already stretched across a dozen other responsibilities. Here's what changed once it became a weekly partnership instead of a weekly scramble — the cover, and an interior content page.

How It Works

One relationship. The same four steps, every week.

No re-explaining your parish, no re-onboarding a new designer. Once we start, the process repeats — quietly, reliably, in the background of your week.

01

You send your content

Mass intentions, announcements, flyers — sent however is easiest for you, by Friday.

02

I build it

Laid out in your parish's established look over the weekend, not forced into a generic template.

03

You review & approve

A near-final proof lands Monday. A quick yes, or a quick note if something needs changing. No chasing.

04

Print-ready file delivered

By Tuesday, ready for your printer or bulletin publisher, on time, every time.

The Honest Math

What you're actually buying.

Not a nicer bulletin. A recurring job that comes off your staff's desk permanently — and a single point of failure that stops being one.

260

hours a year

Five hours a week is most of a full working month — spent on column alignment instead of sacramental records, funeral coordination, or ministry support.

100%

of everyone in the pews

The bulletin is the only thing your parish publishes that reaches every person who walks in. More parishioners read it than ever visit the website. It's worth more than the leftover hour it usually gets.

1

person who knows the file

If your bulletin depends on one staff member knowing how it works, that's a risk that stays invisible until the week she's out. You're buying the end of it.

If you're weighing a part-time communications hire instead, the comparison is starker still — salary, benefits, PTO, and payroll tax, against a per-issue fee with none of them. See pricing →

Straightforward Pricing

The number, so you can bring it to whoever approves it.

Parish budgets are real and finance councils meet on a schedule. No discovery call required to find out what this costs.

From$150

per 8-page issue

  • Weekly production on a fixed schedule — content Friday, proof Monday, print-ready Tuesday
  • Monday revisions included — corrections, tithing numbers, late Mass intentions
  • Bilingual English/Spanish layouts available
  • Your current printer or bulletin publisher stays exactly as it is
  • A one-page agreement — no minimum term, no auto-renewal, no cancellation fee

How the week runs

Friday — you send that week's content. Monday — you get a near-final proof back, and we handle any corrections or late additions. Tuesday — print-ready file delivered. Tuesday changes are still included; the schedule has room in it on purpose.

Wednesday onward — changes at that point mean rebuilding a finished file against your print deadline, so a $50 rush fee applies. You'll hear about it from me before I start the work, never on the invoice afterward. Most parishes never see one.

What moves the price

Longer bulletins and bilingual layouts may cost more, but I quote them rather than charging by the page — because a page of static content isn't the same work as a page that changes every week.

Most parishes have two or three pages that stay put: the ministry directory, Mass times, your parish staff listing. Those get built once and carried forward, and it wouldn't be fair to bill for them weekly.

Work is covered by a simple one-page agreement setting out the schedule, the rate, and what happens if either of us wants to stop. It also confirms that the InDesign design files remain mine — you receive finished, print-ready bulletins rather than the source layout. That's standard for ongoing design work and it's part of why the weekly rate is what it is.

What's Included

Everything your bulletin needs. Nothing you have to manage.

Weekly design

A new bulletin, built fresh each week around your actual content — not a recycled shell.

Bilingual layout support

English/Spanish parishes get layouts that handle both languages cleanly, side by side.

Print & digital-ready files

Delivered ready for your printer or publisher, and for posting online or emailing out.

Direct communication

You talk to the person actually designing your bulletin — not a support ticket queue.

Your printer stays your printer

LPi, Diocesan, or a local shop — files delivered in whatever format they need. Nothing about your printing arrangement changes.

Revisions included

Corrections on Monday and Tuesday are part of the service. Wednesday changes carry a small rush fee, and you'll always hear about it beforehand.

Let's Get Started
